Employability Training

Employability Training

FRF is committed to securing sustainable jobs for the most disadvantaged individuals such as BAME groups, ex-offenders, lone parents, women, long-term unemployed, young people and refugees. We work with the full knowledge that these individuals often face many barriers that have to be overcome before they are able to enter the labour market.

We have successfully acted as sub-contractors for a number of funders and run a number of accredited training courses to help our beneficiaries attain employment and offer a wide range of culturally sensitive services including:

  • Work Placement – We work closely with local and national employers to provide various work experience placements in different sectors like retail, construction, childcare, hair and beauty and many more. We manage a skills database of clients which offers potential employers a wide range of skills and experience from which they can choose to recruit new employees and where possible assist the clients to enrol for training which will suit the needs of the employer.
  • Job Brokerage – We have an excellent track record in helping the unemployed to secure sustainable employment by offering tailor made training, job search advice and work placement. We have experienced great success in placing hundreds of job seekers into sustained employment.
  • Business Support/ Social Enterprise Start-up Training – Our business advice team provides one to one business mentoring to new entrepreneurs and businesses. Our advisors provide guidance and contacts to help people to develop their business. We also run workshop on business planning, marketing, business advice, mentoring and HR support.
